Software security provider Trend Micro Inc.’s new channel program enhancements are intended to streamline access to the Trend Micro Cloud and Data Center Security Solution, with an initial focus on Deep Security. Trend Micro Deep Security provides midmarket companies with enterprise-grade technology to guard against data breaches and business disruptions for physical, virtual, and cloud servers.
As part of the Trend Micro Cloud and Data Center Security Solution, Deep Security’s platform utilizes agentless and agent-based protection to automatically secure virtual servers and desktops, as well as private and public clouds. This all-in-one solution integrates anti-malware, Web reputation, and firewall in addition to intrusion prevention, integrity monitoring, and log inspection. Deep Security enables organizations to virtually patch critical systems, proactively identifying and eliminating vulnerabilities before they can be compromised, according to the Cupertino, Calif.-based company. It also helps organizations comply with key regulatory requirements, including PCE DSS 2.0, HIPAA, FISMA/NIST, NERC, and SAS 70.
Program enhancements include:
- Deal Registration: The program delivers greater support, resources, and incentives to empower partners to gain market share through more qualified sales, simplified margin structure, and streamlined registration.
- Specialization Program: Partners receive additional margin for establishing expertise in specific focus areas, including the midmarket and Trend Micro solutions such as Deep Security.
- On-Demand Marketing Program: An online marketing tool that equips eligible partners with a user-friendly dashboard to engage customers via co-branded emails, Web content, and more to drive lead generation.
