July 19, 2013
Managed print services (MPS) innovator OKI Data Americas will be introducing a program for the channel during the CompTIA ChannelCon conference later this month.
At the July 29-31 event in Orlando, FL, OKI will showcase “an evolved” MPS program along with a bundled network IT package. It will also present three new series of MPS-ready, single-function and smart multifunction printers.
“These new offerings deliver the systems, tools, and infrastructure necessary for OKI’s channel partners to succeed in today’s evolving marketplace,” states an OKI press release submitted to Channelpro-SMB.
“OKI is pleased to take part in CompTIA ChannelCon 2013 and to introduce our evolved MPS platform and ‘NOC’ solution,” adds Tim Brien, OKI Data’s director of managed print services. “We look forward to discussing our new additions to our expanding line of MPS-ready printers.”
Programs & Services
At the CompTIA ChannelCon event, OKI will discuss the evolution of its MPS program, along with select solutions and products. New programs and services include a Network Operating Center (or "NOC") solution that provides the advantages of big network systems to SMBs via a bundled IT network infrastructure. The solution helps IT businesses transform from product-led to services-led models and includes hardware, software, service, and support in one bundled offering.
In addition, the OKI team will discuss the evolution of its MPS platform, including OKI’s MPS offerings and evolving channel strategy that focuses on enablement versus engagement.
OKI will also showcase its MPS-ready printers, including the MPS3537mc and MPS4242mc smart color MFPs, the MPS5502mb smart monochrome MFP, and the MPS5501mb monochrome single function mid-workgroup printer. Each of these printers provides a replacement option for the traditional A3 MFPs/copiers.
These mid-workgroup A4 MFPs combine high-speed output, high print quality, enhanced feature sets, enriched user interface, and OKI’s smart Extendable Platform for streamlined document workflow processing. These new color and mono MFPs deliver enhanced security features.
