Desktop virtualization developer NComputing has released the latest iteration of its vSpace Server software.
Available immediately, the new release of vSpace Server software extends its application and desktop virtualization capabilities to the latest Windows desktop environments (Windows Multipoint Server 2012, Windows Server 2012, and Windows 8). The vSpace Server software is a core component of the vSpace Virtualization Platform, an integrated virtualization solution.
The new release of vSpace Server software offers a rich computing experience, enhanced collaboration, and increased productivity for SMB users. In addition to significant hardware, management, and energy cost savings compared to deploying PCs, IT administrators can enable users to securely work remotely on any device.
Major new features of vSpace Server 7.1 software include:
- Extended application and desktop virtualization capabilities for the latest Microsoft Windows desktop environments.
- Support for vSpace Server 7.1 software for simplified management and scaling of virtual desktop deployments via vSpace Management Center.
- Available membership in the NComputing Support and Subscription (SnS) programs for the vSpace Server and vSpace Management Center software products.
The new release of the vSpace Server software is immediately available to new customers or as an upgrade for existing customers with membership in the NComputing SnS programs. The software is included with all new purchases of NComputing client devices, including L-series and M-series, and with new software client access licenses.
