Intermedia, a global provider of cloud services and a Microsoft Exchange hosting provider, based in Mountain View, Calif., has announced enhancements to its partner program as well as a new partner sales portal.
Existing Intermedia partners will now be classified as Gold, Silver, or Registered based on multiple factors that demonstrate their commitment to growth of their Intermedia business. Each partner status comes with a range of benefits, including special incentives, increased levels of support, and improved tools and resources delivered through Intermedia’s new partner sales portal.
Partners can build their cloud services business under two different models: Advisor and Private Label. With the Advisor model, partners resell direct Intermedia plans. Intermedia services the account and pays the partner a recurring monthly commission over the life of the customer account. With the Private Label model, the partner resells Intermedia private label plans under the reseller’s brand. The partner bills the customer directly and maintains the relationship, including determining end-user pricing, setting margins, and bundling in additional services.
The new partner sales portal gives Intermedia’s partners’ sales and marketing teams easy access to resources such as on-demand webinars, educational documents, and white-label materials to help partners generate leads and close deals. In addition to 24/7 phone support, partners have immediate access to their Intermedia partner sales representative through live chat and request call-back functionality.
