Cloud-based computing services provider Infinitely Virtual will now offer QuickBooks Enterprise and Advanced Inventory for QuickBooks Enterprise on a monthly subscription basis.
Infinitely Virtual has long offered cloud-hosted implementations of QuickBooks Pro and QuickBooks Premier. The company is an Intuit Commercial Host, enabling it to provide QuickBooks capability to clients via its virtual server platform.
Although Intuit has raised prices on QuickBooks Pro 2012/2013 and Accountant 2013, Infinitely Virtual will honor current prices for existing customers, the company states in a press release submitted to Channelpro-SMB. “With these two additional QuickBooks modules, we’re committed to holding the line on pricing for existing customers,” says Infinitely Virtual CEO Adam Stern. “Indeed, our policy is to do whatever we can not to raise prices on our customers.”

At the same time, Infinitely Virtual is rolling out the Advanced Inventory add-on for Enterprise Solutions. Aimed at addressing complex inventory needs, the add-on works seamlessly with QuickBooks without the need for separate software or data integration. Inventory data is tracked automatically from QuickBooks invoices, sales orders and purchase orders.
Advanced Inventory enables users to manage inventory with first-in-first-out costing or average costing, serial number or lot tracking, and multiple location inventory—all within QuickBooks.
Items can be tracked down to their bin location level within one or more warehouses. Advanced Inventory scans items and serial numbers without touching a keyboard. QuickBooks automatically places information in the right field.
In addition to tracking inventory in multiple warehouses, users can track it in different staging areas within a single warehouse, on service trucks, and on consignment.
Upgrading from QuickBooks Pro or Premier is made simple for SMBs. By simply opening the company file in Enterprise Solutions, QuickBooks data, report templates, and user permissions automatically transfer over to Enterprise Solutions.
