We aren’t always kind to our gadgets. You spill things on them, leave them at the airport, and sometimes even drop them in the toilet. If you’ve got a few butterfingers, you may want to invest in a tablet that can take your daily abuse.
The Algiz 7 may just be that tablet. This super-rugged tablet PC is small and light, so it’s a great travel companion. However, it’s a lot tougher than you are. It has met MIL-STD-810G military standards, which basically means it can withstand humidity, vibration, drops, and extreme temperatures. It even keeps out dust and water really well. Did the Algiz 7 have a tough day? Rinse it off and it’s ready for the next adventure.
As far as the specs, the Algiz 7 has an Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor, a 64GB SSD, and 2GB of DDR2 RAM. It also comes packing the Windows 7 Ultimate operating system, a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth and WiFi, an integrated 3G antenna, and GPS features. And just in case you do have a few adventures outside, you can document them for friends, family, and coworkers, using the tablet’s built-in 2-megapixel camera, which has its own LED.
Weighing in at a mere 2.42 pounds, the Algiz 7 also has waterproof USB 2.0 and RS-232 ports, as well as LAN ports.
