Exoprise is all about Microsoft users lately. The company, which is known for its cloud-based monitoring and enablement solutions for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, just made a pair of announcements that will benefit those of you looking to work from almost anywhere.
First up is CloudReady Monitor for Office 365. The new monitoring solution for Microsoft Office 365 combines crowd-sourced data analytics with active point-of-access monitoring. The end result can put you in touch with Office 365 applications in real time.
Office 365 is a subscription-based suite offering online access to the software and services built around the Microsoft Office platform. That said, visibility to Office 365 performance is limited to the Microsoft Office 365 Service Status Dashboard. The Exoprise option is for IT groups, value-added resellers, managed service providers, and everyone else who needs complete control over the entire Office 365 delivery chain.
“Visibility and control of service levels is essential for enterprises looking to move more of their mission-critical applications to the cloud,” says Alex Boccio, project manager at Pro4ia, a Microsoft Cloud Accelerate partner. “With Exoprise CloudReady we now have end-to-end visibility into the availability and performance of the Office 365 services. CloudReady enables us to proactively monitor and quickly detect service degradations, which leads to higher service levels and greater customer satisfaction for our managed services clients.”
Exoprise says that CloudReady Monitor for Office 365 is available now, with a free trial option on the Exoprise website.
This is an interesting product launch, especially in light of Exoprise’s other announcement concerning its new Microsoft Partner Program for Microsoft cloud channel partners. The announcement could mean new revenue opportunities for Microsoft Office channel partners, via CloudReady Monitor and complementary value-added services.
With cloud computing making such a big splash, IT groups and service providers need robust tools to monitor and manage performance of essential services, including Office 365.
Partners can expect to receive all of the tools needed to help clients move into the cloud—and into the future of computing.
“Moving your mission-critical applications to the cloud doesn’t absolve IT of responsibility for the quality of service provided to users,” says Warren Mead, vice president of channel and sales for Exoprise. “If your users can’t access email, they are not going to call Microsoft, they are going to call the IT help desk and the IT team will be expected to fix whatever problem exists. Exoprise is providing IT departments and service providers with the control and visibility they need to assure quality of service for their users through early detection and rapid resolution of service-affecting issues, regardless of where they occur.”
Exoprise also has a new Premier Partner program with Microsoft in the works. The pilot program will enable Managed Partners with the Exoprise CloudReady platform to help accelerate adoption of Office 365.
