The workday moves pretty fast. No one can slow you down. More importantly, no equipment should slow you down. Epson’s WorkForce Pro GT-S85 is a document scanner that’s made to match your speedy pace.
It’s not like a typical document scanner, where you have to place one sheet perfectly on the glass, close the lid, and wait for a snail-like beam to move across the surface. Instead, this device is designed to keep you chugging along, with speeds up to 80ipm and a duty cycle of 3,000 sheets.
Designed for everything from business cards to documents that measure 8.5-by-36 inches, the GT-S85 can hold up to 75 sheets at a time. From there, it can scan, store, and manage critical documents. It even allows users to store a searchable PDF file directly to SharePoint, Google Docs, Evernote, or Dropbox, all with one press of the scan button.
Other features include a two-line LCD display, a document capture, and both TWAIN and ISIS drivers. The GT-S85 also has DynaFile batch processing and barcode recognition features, allowing users to index and manage files much easier.
“We chose to work with the Epson document scanners for a number of reasons including their ease-of-use, fast speeds, and the ability to scan massive amounts of documents at a time,” says Brock Kane, director of new business development for DynaFile. “The Epson WorkForce Pro GT-S55 and GT-S85 document scanners are also easy to configure and offer a very robust scanning solution from which our clients will benefit.”
Epson is selling the WorkForce Pro GT-S85 now, with an MSRP of $999.
