Axcient, data backup and recovery provider for MSPs, VARs, and their SMB customers, has fully integrated its product with ConnectWise, a provider of business management for IT service providers. The partnership brings the Axcient backup and disaster recovery product to ConnectWise partners, enabling new sales opportunities, and brings ConnectWise management capabilities to Axcient partners. This new integration is available to all Axcient/ConnectWise partners at no additional charge.
The Axcient service combines an on-site appliance for backup, restoration, and continuity of laptops, desktops and servers, with off-site cloud replication for disaster recovery and compliance. With this integration, device status is readily available, and service tickets can be automatically opened within ConnectWise when specific events (like backup failure) occur.
Event notifications are fully configurable, for events such as:
- Bare Metal Restore (BMR)
- Device level events
- Exchange mailbox events
- Network events
- Offsite backup events
