This new partner program is designed to provide members of the Amazon Web Services partner ecosystem with technical information, plus sales and marketing help.
April 18, 2012
Amazon will soon be offering the new Amazon Web Services Partner Network (APN), now in Public Beta launch. This new partner program is designed to provide members of the AWS partner ecosystem with technical information, plus sales and marketing help.
APN membership is available for Technology-based partners (including ISVs, SaaS, tools providers, platform providers, and others) and Consulting-based partners (including SIs, agencies, consultancies, MSPs, and others). Consulting Partners gain access to resources and training to enable partners to help customers deploy, run, and manage applications in the AWS cloud.
Within each of these two partner types, partners can qualify for one of three tiers (Advanced, Standard, and Registered) based on a set of requirements. Partners that qualify for the Standard and Advanced tiers will receive a number of valuable benefits including:
- a logo publicly designating the partner
- a listing in the AWS Partner Directory
- $1,000 in AWS Services credits, plus $1,000 in AWS Premium Support credits
APN will not be fully activated until later this year, though Amazon encourages partners to apply early for benefits. Current partners can pre-qualify for the program here. For more information, visit the AWS Partner Network.
