ioSafe Solo External Hard Drive with Disaster Protection
The ioSafe Solo is an external hard drive that attaches to a computer using a standard USB connection. Set up is a simple process, and most computers are immediately able to use the additional capacity.
The hard drive can withstand fires and is rated up to 1,550° F per the ASTM E119 industry standard. It can also be submerged in fresh or salt water for three days at a depth down to 10 feet. To protect information, the Solo was built using three technologies developed by ioSafe: FloSafe for cooling, HydroSafe for water resistance, and DataCast for extreme heat protection.
The Solo is available in 500GB, 1TB, and 1.5TB models with retail pricing that starts at $149.
