Power protection innovator Tripp Lite has introduced two new surge suppressors for use in the healthcare environment. The SPS606HGRA and SPS610HGRA surge suppressors were designed to provide healthcare facilities with the convenience of a space-saving, right-angle hospital-grade input plug for placing the units in confined areas and keyhole mounting tabs and flanges for easy installation.

“These new surge suppressors are ideal for providing protected hospital-grade outlets outside patient-care areas,” explains Molly Jantzen, Tripp Lite’s director of medical solutions. “Their right-angle plug and convenient mounting designs enable them to easily fit in hard-to-reach areas in nurses´ stations, laboratories or anywhere that needs hospital-grade surge protected outlets.”

The new surge suppressors offer:

• Six hospital-grade outlets.
• All-metal housing.
• Switch safety cover that prevents accidental shutoff.
• Certification by UL and cUL.
• UL1449 3^rd Edition and UL1363 listing.
