Ingram Micro’s House Brand Adds a Line of Universal AC Adapters 

V7’s series of universal AC adapters are compatible with many name-brand notebook PCs and netbooks.

Ingram Micro Inc.’s house brand, V7, has added a line of universal AC adapters that are compatible with many current name-brand notebook PCs and netbooks.

According to Ingram Micro, the V7 series of universal AC adapters feature compatible device tips on models that fit Dell notebooks, HP/Compaq notebooks, and IBM/Lenovo notebooks. There are also models compatible with most Fujitsu, Toshiba, Gateway, Acer, Asus, and Sony notebooks and netbooks.

Ingram Micro vice president and general manager, V7 Private Label Group, says the new line enables resellers to know clearly which adapters are compatible with specific laptops. “Providing reliable power access, these low-profile adapters also store easily in a notebook case or luggage,” he adds.

V7 offers five universal AC adapter models, including:

• AC1030U3-N6--A 30-watt, 19-volt adapter that includes three compatible device tips that fit most netbooks (SRP is $24.99)

• AC1065U5-N6--A 65-watt, 19-volt adapter that includes five tips to fit a variety of brand name notebooks, including Acer, Asus, Fujitsu, Sony, and Toshiba (SRP is $29.99)

• AC1090D3-N6--A 90-watt, 19-volt adapter that includes three tips that fit all 65- to 90-watt Dell notebooks (SRP is $39.99)

• AC1090H3-N6-- A 90-watt, 19-volt adapter that includes three tips that fit all 65-watt to 90-watt HP/Compaq notebooks (SRP is $39.99)

• AC1090L3-N6--A 90-watt, 19-volt adapter that includes three tips that fit all 72-watt to 90-watt IBM/Lenovo notebooks (SRP is $39.99)

All V7 AC Adapters ship with a two-year limited warranty.
