Emerson Network Power Sets Dates for ‘Business Innovators' Web-Cast Series

Four dates established for the program aimed at helping channel pros "optimize energy efficiency, reduce costs, and manage complexity while maintaining IT system availability."

Emerson Network Power has announced the 2010 schedule for its "Business Innovators" series of Web-cast programs.

The series, which started this month, offers information for IT and data center managers. The programs aim to help these channel pros "optimize energy efficiency, reduce costs, and manage complexity while maintaining IT system availability," the company says. 

The "Business Innovators" series is sponsored by Emerson Network Power's Liebert products and services business in North America. The program brings together leading technology experts to address key issues facing IT and business management.

This year's series will include the following Web-casts:

• Feb. 17--"Integrating Optimized Economizers in Your Data Center Design to Leverage the Advantages of ‘Free Cooling'"
• April 21--"Efficiency Without Compromise: Optimizing Data Center Infrastructure to Reduce Cost and Deliver High Availability"
• June 16--"Critical Systems Monitoring: Innovative Strategies for Effective Infrastructure Management"
• Aug. 18--"To 30kW and Beyond: High-Density Infrastructure Strategies that Improve Efficiencies and Cut Costs"

Jeff Sturgeon, Emerson Network Power's vice president of marketing and solutions for Liebert products and services, says energy efficiency and system availability are top priorities for channel pros this year, especially, he says, "as heat densities and capacity needs continue to grow and data centers become more and more complex."

Sturgeon says the forthcoming ‘Business Innovators" Web-casts will explore the trends relevant to those concerns. "This year's series will explore those data center industry trends and equip professionals with the knowledge needed to effectively balance energy savings, costs and business continuity," he says.
